SAN FRANCISCO—The San Francisco Symphony announces the public release of Deck the Hall at the Drive-In, available for free on-demand viewing via the SFSymphony+ streaming service starting December 20. Deck the Hall at the Drive-In premiered December 5 on the big screen at FORT MASON FLIX, kicking off the SF Symphony’s holiday season. The digital family-friendly holiday program is hosted by the SF Symphony’s Resident Conductor of Engagement and Education Daniel Bartholomew-Poyser and features performances by the Caribbean Express Ensemble, San Francisco Boys Chorus, and Young Women’s Choral Projects alongside SF Symphony musicians; a special appearance by NBC evening news host Raj Mathai; and special holiday characters. The musical selections include popular holiday tunes “Up on the Housetop,” “Frosty the Snowman,” “Sleigh Ride,” “’Twas the Night Before Christmas,” “Deck the Hall,”
Kolomeyke, and Russian Dance from
The Nutcracker. Deck the Hall at the Drive-In will be available for free viewing beginning at 10am on Monday, December 20 via
sfsymphonyplus.org.
